Hickory's is an american barbecue style restaurant located in Chester and Rhos on Sea near us. It offers traditional barbecue style foods such as ribs, grills, burgers etc.
The food choice is a little limited especially if you're a vegetarian but other wise you'll probably find something that takes your fancy on the menu. Personally we've tried the Hickory's burger, the Southern Fried Chicken and the Big Pig Sandwich, all of which we loved!
Homemade sodas at Hickory's are the bomb totally unique to anything tasted elsewhere they're so so good! We give our seal of approval on the Grape soda, Cherry Cream soda and the Blueberry Lemonade soda...delicious.
The service is fab and staff are very welcoming, when you arrive you get popcorn whilst you wait for a short time as the food does arrive really quickly. We love the atmosphere with booths, general seating and kitchen side seating there's somewhere for everyones preference.
There's plenty of main meals around £10 and below, for the quality you get it's totally worth it!
We love Hickory's it's such a great vibe restaurant with fabulous locations and views, food, value and overall atmosphere what more could you want? Especially to sit outside enjoying the North Wales coast or River Dee with a quenching soda on a sunny day..bliss!
Oh a little hint the toilet is like walking through a wall look for the pig snout and you'll be on the right track! Oink Oink!
